ABOUT THE SHOW

Good morning this is my show, BACK TO BASIC, my name is Daniel Clements.  This show is a long format political talk show from a Christian prospective.

            A little bit about me.  I’m 46 years old and currently serve as an Elder in the Church of Christ.  I have a high school education.  I’ve been married to a wonderful woman for 23 yrs and we have 2 children.  My wife’s name is Lori   I have been driving truck off and on from 1992 to the present.  I read a lot of articles about a lot of different subjects.  I’m a conservative and a member of the Constitution party.  I believe in a constitutionally formed and limited Government.  I believe that the states should take care of the citizens from a governmental point of view.  The power of government comes from We the People, and the closer the government is to the people the easier it is for the people to control it.

            We need to return to the basics of the Constitution in order to return this country back on the straight and narrow path.  Progressive thinking people in this country are tearing down the country, because they think they know best how individual citizens should live their lives.  Liberals want to ignore the constitution and force on the country failed policies that destroy our country.

            The two party systems are broke and people deserve an alternative.  The Constitution party is that alternative.  It is the third largest political party in the country.  The Constitution party should not just jump into the national election scene at the presidential level.  We need to build the party from the grassroots up, starting at the local level, then state and finally at the national level.  We may need to support a republican for president, to keep the unthinkable from happening. But we need to start now to build up the Constitution party for local, state and congressional races in 2008.

            Throughout this show you will here me reference Biblical principals, but this show is not a Bible study.  The Bible tells us how to live good lives according to God’s word and the founding fathers of our country understood this and incorporated these principals into our founding documents.  I’m a conservative Christian first, patriot second.  The rule of law is one of the most important things we as Americans can follow in order to keep this country great, and continues to receive God’s blessing as a nation.
